  1. You only said “put him in his crate”. but how does one get him used to it?

  2. you shouldn’t leave a dog in a crate more than 4 hours at a time (aside from sleeping)

  3. fuck no man!!!

  4. I also work 10 hours a day, but at night and do not want a stranger in my home, my puppy is 10 weeks, can i leave her in the crate that long?

  5. i know!!!! that was soooo hot!!!!

  6. A perfect example all my dogs will open their cages such as that and run ahead of me if I start to them. I used food from the very start. Use food each and every time so there is positive reinforcement and you can also feed them in it. I use them occassionaly but not all the time, only when traveling. But are awesome tool if properly introduced, good tip.

  7. omg, lool, that’s well cool how yuu taught her to actually open the crate herself. x

  8. I use the crate for my dog at night it took a long time to get her into the crate at night she us to always put up a fuss (I even had to get help sometimes)but now (a year later) she goes in willingly and sometimes opens the door herself XD

  9. holy crap your dog even opens the door by herself LOL

  10. how did you actually teach her to like the crate and how did you train here to open it that was amazing!!

  11. Thank you.

  12. wow the dog opened the door and everything. that was great.

  13. Interesting to hear you say that you’d get mad at your dog long after they’d done something wrong. I guess the crate trained both you and your dog.

  14. I would look into dog daycares and dog walkers in your area. It will make it a lot easier on you and your pup.

    Best,
    Eric

  15. I am gone 10 hours a day and i leave my puppy in the kitchen with a baby gate. I don’t know anyone who could let her out during the day so it’s been tough going with house training. I use the puppy pads on the kitchen floor and she’s pretty good about hitting the target. When I am home, I am VERY diligent about taking her outside at least once per hour and right away in the morning when we get up. Any suggestions for someone who works all day?

  16. Hi Eric, New subscriber here. I recently bought a dog, first one I’ve had in over 25 years! I’ve forgotten how much work it is! She’s a 10 week old Boston Terrier. Your vids have been a godsend. Thank you. -Russ
