    There was never such a thing as an “english bulldog”. There was the SPANISH BULLDOG that was imported to England, but that’s called the Alano Espanol, and they’re still alive & well in Spain.

For me old english bulldog is not the alano espanol. not all the italian breeds are extinct, some of them are changed a bit (no mutts), other dogs never changed for exemple the “pastore abruzzese” very common here in Italy. So if you want you are free to said that all Italian breeds are dead or mutts, but(sorry) you’ re wrong, and we are free like you to said that they are strong, beautiful and alive.

    I own a puppy cane corso and you are right they do get over playfull with you and the famliy but just keep them sitting down in door only try training them to sit and ever time they gets up tell them to sit again and again mines is now chilling at the age of 5 months but once I leave she gets buck wild LOL
